Spring: A Time To Reset
While the year officially begins on January 1st, there's something about Spring that truly feels like a fresh start—an opportunity to reset and reflect on the months ahead. What changes will we make? What new hobbies will we embrace? Nature itself seems to echo this sentiment, with trees bursting into blossom, longer evenings and mornings (especially here in the UK), and a noticeable shift in the air, all signaling new beginnings and renewed life.
Here are some of the ways we like to reset in Spring:

1. Spring Cleaning
This doesn't mean just your home, but also your digital space. Think about cleaning out old files, declutter your workspace and refresh your environment. A clean space often leads to a clearer mind.
2. Set New Intentions or Goals
Spring symbolises growth. Consider setting new goals, both big and small, that align with where you want to grow in this season of renewal. Reflect on what you want to achieve in the next few months.
3. Start a New Hobby or Activity
Try something creative like gardening, painting, or learning an instrument. Being outside and in nature or engaging in something fun can help reset your energy.

4. Focus on Self-Care
Take time to pamper yourself with activities like buying yourself a bunch of flowers or going to get an iced coffee. Taking up yoga or meditation. Prioritise yourself and focus on both your physical and emotional well-being.
5. Nourish Your Body with Seasonal Foods
Spring is a great time to incorporate fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables into your diet. Think leafy greens, strawberries, and asparagus. Eating seasonally supports your health and energy levels.
6. Get Active Outdoors
The warmer weather calls for outdoor exercise—whether it's pilates in your garden, running, or going for a walk around your nearest park or field. Spending time outdoors helps reset your mind and body.
7. Reconnect with Nature
Take a trip to a nature spot, whether it’s a nearby forest, beach, or park. Reconnecting with the outdoors can provide you with a fresh perspective and reduce stress.
8. Digital Detox
Step back from social media and screens for a weekend or even a week. Use that time to focus on real-world connections and personal growth.
9. Practice Gratitude and Mindfulness
As the season changes, make time each day to reflect on what you’re grateful for. Practice mindfulness to stay present and enjoy the beauty around you.
10. Refresh Your Wardrobe
Spring is a great time to update your closet with lighter, brighter clothes. Take a trip to your nearest Charity shop or vintage shop to purchased second hand clothes - whilst your there look for some jewelry to upcycle at Beading and Boozing!
11. Plan a Spring Adventure
Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a day trip, planning something exciting gives you something to look forward to and provides a mental reset.
12. Reassess Your Priorities
With the new season, take some time to reflect on your current commitments. Are there things that no longer serve you? Now is a good time to let go of anything that’s weighing you down.
These ideas can help you tap into the fresh energy of spring and give you the space to reset your life and intentions.

The Daisy Lily Team xo
